Adopt-A-Family Christmas 2013
Holy Cross Coptic Orthodox Church is supporting the Salvation Army
Adopt-an-Angel program to make Christmas better for local families in
need. We have been assigned three girls (2, 10, and
15 years old) and are asked to provide a 1-2 gifts and a clothing item
for each child. Total amount spent per child should fall in the $60-$75
range.
Requested toys and clothing sizes are available to help guide your purchases. All purchased items will need to be received no later than Sunday, December 8th. If
you are interested in participating in this program and providing an
item for these children, please contact
commnuityservice@holycrosscoptic.org for more information.
The Adopt-A-Family (AAF) program matches impoverished families with individual or group sponsors to provide for their tangible needs at Christmas. Without the benefit of an adoption, these families would be looking forward to a very grim holiday. Being adopted is designed to be a once or, on very rare occasions, twice in a lifetime event for recipient families. Holy Cross Coptic Orthodox Church Community Service and Social Committee |
